Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

Living LA – UCLA is located in a great atmosphere. It's located in a great part of LA, right in between Bel-Air and Beverly Hills. We have a great little town we're situated in, Westwood. Pretty Lenient Policies – Campus strictness is at a minimum.

    Course highlights:

I've never felt unsafe here and it's been a great first year. The pride here is unifying and although it's a big school I've always felt welcomed and secure. I'd never change my mind in a million years about the college I picked to attend.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

LA is a great location for school because you're only a bus ride away from so many museums, beaches, DisneyLand, shopping, Hollywood, and so much more. Plus, the culture and diversity is immense here with Koreatown, Little Ethiopia, Japantown, etc.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

The security on campus is heavily maintained. There are constantly CPO officers walking around campus during the time of day in which people would feel the least safe. The UCPD is an actual police department and makes students feel safe.

    Course highlights:

There are many students that are very energetic and supportive of the athletics here. It helps that the school often gives away incentives for the students to participate in the games.I have had some professors whom I would never recommend and have turned me off to certain subjects like philosophy.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

The CSO officers can be called for simple things such as walking you home. I am a very large man so I do not feel threatened by too many people and haven't had any experiences where I do not feel safe on campus.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

Living on campus is great! I was in one of the suite-style buildings, which I wouldn't recommend to freshmen because it is not very social. I met all my friends through other activities. The friends who lived in classic dorms found tons of people on their floors/in their buildings they got along with.

    Course highlights:

The quality of education, the amount of knowledge, and the culture of people you meet at UCLA is amazing! I can't say anything about other universities, but UCLA is one of the best.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Job and internship positions are there if you apply yourself. Go into the student center and inquire about them. It might not be exactly what you want, but it will be as close to it as possible.
