Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I have yet to utilize the career centers and resources, but from my observation, they are pretty effective in what they do. The alumni network does an amazing job in helping student network with alumni and other connected firms.

    Course highlights:

There's a good number of students working on-campus jobs and even outside work as well. Though I have not much experience on this topic, I know a good number of people who have effectively utilized the career system.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Overall, the security at UCLA is pretty efficient. I wish there were more UCPD officers stationed at the dormitories and campus, though, since I don't see many of them on duty. I've rarely heard of any crime committed on campus and thus I feel safe walking around at night (within the UCLA campus).

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

Living LA – UCLA is located in a great atmosphere. It's located in a great part of LA, right in between Bel-Air and Beverly Hills. We have a great little town we're situated in, Westwood. Pretty Lenient Policies – Campus strictness is at a minimum.

    Course highlights:

I've never felt unsafe here and it's been a great first year. The pride here is unifying and although it's a big school I've always felt welcomed and secure. I'd never change my mind in a million years about the college I picked to attend.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

LA is a great location for school because you're only a bus ride away from so many museums, beaches, DisneyLand, shopping, Hollywood, and so much more. Plus, the culture and diversity is immense here with Koreatown, Little Ethiopia, Japantown, etc.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

The security on campus is heavily maintained. There are constantly CPO officers walking around campus during the time of day in which people would feel the least safe. The UCPD is an actual police department and makes students feel safe.

    Course highlights:

There are many students that are very energetic and supportive of the athletics here. It helps that the school often gives away incentives for the students to participate in the games.I have had some professors whom I would never recommend and have turned me off to certain subjects like philosophy.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

The CSO officers can be called for simple things such as walking you home. I am a very large man so I do not feel threatened by too many people and haven't had any experiences where I do not feel safe on campus.
