This class was tough.
The course requires dense reading that it hard to interpret. Also, it is a philosophical classes that tries to understand the meaning of culture, home, and nature.
The highlights of this course was that it allowed me to see how nature is socially constructed for our own purpose. When you go to a cemetery, there is a reason why the tombstones might be placed in a certain order. Nature is seen as a commodity where humans use nature to earn money and an example would be Sea World using Shamu for money.

Advice for students:
Take advantage over your weekends and get ahead in the readings because the readings are dense and long. Go to office hours for help because that is where the professor will give most of the midterm and final material.
