Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

The course is not too difficult if you have some knowledge of statistics prior to taking the course. The class size is relatively large because the course is impacted, which made it difficult for the professor to help students one on one, however, he did hold office hours. Take advantage of those if you are struggling in the course. The class lectures are not thorough so make sure to read the chaptes in the book.

    Course highlights:

Because this class is a requirement for psychology majors, everything you learn in it will be used throughout your academic career as a psychology major.

    Hours per week:

    12+ hours

    Advice for students:

The book is expensive, however, I would highly recommend that you buy one. The lectures themselves are not very thorough, so you may need further clarification which the book will provide. Moreover, the personal trainer program that comes with the book was extremely helpful.

    This class was tough.

Make sure to study the textbook, especially the vocabulary because there aren't many mathematical problems on the tests.

    Course highlights:

I learned about research methods which was important for Psychology 100B.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Make sure to manage your time and focus on reading the book. Reading the powerpoints is not as essential as reading the textbook.
