    | Would recommend.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend this class if you are either required to take the course or if you enjoy math courses. Math 32A is an introduction to multivariable calculus, and Professor Conley does a great job of making sure you understand the material. And as always, go to office hours!

    Course highlights:

This class was my first exposure to vectors, an aspect of math I had never encountered. However, it was interesting and it helped me overcome my insecurities with working on word problems. I also learned that going to office hours makes a huge difference in my understanding of the material. I recommend going to office hours even if I don't have any questions. Just listening to others ask their questions helps me learn more.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

To succeed in this course, I recommend you go to lecture because Conley's notes are worth it. As a necessary supplement, I also recommend you go to Conley's office hours every once in awhile, especially the time nearing the midterm and final. Conley's lectures teach you the basics of the material, but it is in his other resources you learn the complexity of the material you are required to understand.
