    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

It's a pretty difficult and challenging course. You can't succeed simply through memorizing the information. It takes a lot of time and effort to master the material, but it's definitely doable.

    Course highlights:

It was interesting to learn so much about linkage analysis, population genetics, and my personal favorite, bacterial and phage genetics.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Give yourself enough time to do your practice midterms and finals. Work with friends to teach each other and share answers. Working in groups also helps you to find new and easier ways to approach a type of problem.
