    | Would highly recommend.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

    Although this is a difficult class, Lindsey Hinck is an amazing professor that prepares you for future upper division classes. She is very passionate about cell biology and wants you to know all the updated research so she is constantly updating the class with current research.

    Course highlights:

    The highlights of this course were the parts of the slides that said "why should I care?" and she relates what you are learning to interesting and current research. It helps you better understand the information and remember it because you can relate it to cool research.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

    Make sure that you read the lecture slides ahead of time and you print them ahead of time so that you can take notes on it. Review, review, review. Pay close attention to the problem sets that she assigns, understand the answers. Try to make it to her office hours and go to MSI and section, make sure that you can teach others the information!

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

    Professor Hinck was my instructor for the health sciences internship seminar. Her lectures were very informative and entertaining, and reflected a sincere love of teaching. She expects a lot from her students, but provides honest feedback and outstanding constructive criticism. She's an awesome editor, and truly cares about her students.

    Course highlights:

    Her lectures are extremely enjoyable because of her enthusiasm for the subject. Her tests are hard because she wants you apply what you learned.

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

    Hinck expects high-quality work from her students and will help you succeed if you put in the effort. Make sure you talk to her in office hours! Hinck is not only a brilliant professor, but also personable and funny.
