    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

A very fun class! I mean, who doesn't want to take a course all about muppets?

    Course highlights:

This course is all about the history of Jim Henson's muppets, and also touches on theories of puppeteering in general, as well as the history puppeteering around the world. There are a few essays and a final project that involves building your own muppet!

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Either do the readings or pay attention and take notes in lecture. Really, it's not even necessary to do both. The essays and final project are graded fairly leniently, and the tests are simple multiple choice. You will have to put some effort into the essays, but nothing to worry about too much.

    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course highlights:

You learn the history of American Puppetry leading up to Henson and how he was inspired to create the Muppets. You then learn about the Muppet's evolution and growth.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Make sure to attend lecture and keep up with the little reading assigned. As long as you do that an A is practically guaranteed.
