Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I took ASTR1 and it was great. If you do the readings before class and pay attention to lecture it should be a breeze. Professor is super helpful and funny.

    Course highlights:

Raja knows everything about Astronomy and he's so friendly and likeable and approachable -- just great!

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Raja is a great guy and he'll help you in office hours, but there's so much to cover in class that he literally can't cover it all, so he talks incredibly fast and without clarity. Tests are hard, but they're curved. Do the homework, go to class, and STUDY and make notecards even though the tests are open note!

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

Dr. U is great. The material is easy to grasp, however the tests can be tricky.

    Course highlights:

GO TO CLASS!!! His notes will be applied to the exam. Overall interesting class & professor.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

If you're taking the lab try to get Damian Menning (the best TA I've had to date). Side note: Dr. U only wears kaki pants and maroon polos. We had a laugh
