    | Would highly recommend.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

Truly teaches you a lot about the subject - you will exist the course extremely comfortable with the python language. Additionally, Dr. Bernick is extremely helpful and knowledgeable and honestly wants his students to learn and succeed. It is a tough course and a lot of work, but it really pays off!

    Course highlights:

I gained an awesome understanding of computational biology and this class really got me excited for the rest of my career.

    Hours per week:

    12+ hours

    Advice for students:

This class takes up A LOT of time. The labs are hard and really take off around week 5. Stay on top of it! and office hours/labs are very helpful!

    | No strong feelings either way.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

Excellent professor, you have to work hard as the classes tend to move fast but as long as you stay on top of it you will learn a lot.

    Course highlights:

This class requires a lot of self learning as he isn't the best at explaining stuff.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Read the book if you want to learn the subject. The TA's will help you get through the course. Take the class only if you are a good self leaner.
