Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

This course gives good insight into the natural world around us. Ecology and Evolution happens everywhere in every organism. Anywhere you look, it's happening, and it's much more interesting when you know what is going on in a biological sense.

    Course highlights:

I enjoyed learning about natural selection, and the reason why organisms evolve in the first place. It's so interesting how genes will change on their own in order to help their species survive. Even plants, which have no brain, are able to learn from their environment and change accordingly!

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

You must realize that Ecology (and most biology courses) is not black and white! You really have to use your own intuition when it comes to things like why an organism evolves a certain way, or why a species diverges into multiple species. This class isn't formulaic, you will succeed if you think outside the box!
