    | Would highly recommend.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I recommend this course because it gives an insight to the struggles that people of Latin America faced. Not only that, but it showed how history is interconnected all around the world. It connects the slave trade to the ideology of the "American Dream" that many Latin Americas face day by day.

    Course highlights:

The highlights of this course were being able to dig deeper into detail about events that happened throughout the course of history. How the United States became very involved with Latin America from trade to a short amnesty. One of the most interesting parts was learning about the different types or resistances these people led to be freed from their oppressors.

    Advice for students:

Attend class and always ask Professor Leiva questions, he is extremely passionate about his work. Stop by his office hours so he can attach a name to your face.
