    | Would recommend.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend this course as Susan is a wonderfully nice woman who is passionate about student understanding. She works hard to accommodate for student needs. The active learning class is a great opportunity to work with your peers and be in a close environment to the teacher. You are able to actively discuss topics with the professor without feeling as though you are taking up class time as you might in a larger lecture.

    Course highlights:

Highlights include the active learning teaching style, Susan's optimism and support, and the depth of information taught.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Study. Do not wait until the last day to study for a test. Make sure you understand the concepts and do not simply memorize terms.

    | No strong feelings either way.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

She was fair, but she wasn't that approachable. When I ask her for help, she would reply with a very condescending tone

    Course highlights:

She is energetic, enthusiastic, clear, and helpful. Hard exams but study hard and you'll get an A. OH was extremely helpful. They felt like conversations, not inquiries.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

Attending her lectures are pointless. She just reads from her slides which are word for word copied from the book. I would recommend just watching the webcast because (rarely) she might mention something that was not covered in the book
