Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

This course provides great preparation for future chemistry courses. If gives students the foundation they need to understand stoichiometry and acid/base reactions, both essential concepts in chemistry.

    Course highlights:

As someone who needed a refresher on basic chemistry concepts, this class gave exactly that, and more. It took things learned at the high school level, and gave a more realistic understanding of why they work that way.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Take the time to do the homework and prepare for how math heavy this course is.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

Seth, as a professor, is funny. He does several experiments in class to help those who are visual learners. His midterms are pretty easy when you study, obviously. I ended up with an A in his class.

    Course highlights:

I had to take this course for my major requirements. Chemistry is really interesting because there is chemistry all around you, so why wouldn't you want to know everything.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Study and ask questions so that you can understand the material.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

I recommend to take this course because Seth Rubin is able to make a hard course such as Chemistry understandable and easier that what it seems.

    Course highlights:

I learned that it's always good to collaborate with more than one person because you are able to find more than one solution to the challenge.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Study throughout the week and make sure to read the textbook every now and then.
