    This class was tough.

For anyone who wants to get deep into a fascinating subject, it's an amazing course! The professor is so excited about the subject that it is hard not to get swept up as well!

    Course highlights:

I learned how to connect real life issues with any form of media, and I learned how to interpret media content through various lenses while delving into what these lenses imply about the content.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

If you're the kind of person who gets really involved with things that you find interesting , definitely take this course! There'll be lots of research, but you can write your essays on pretty much whatever subject you want within the parameters.

    | No strong feelings either way.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

It's just a normal course like any other course. If you study, it's a piece of cake, but if you're not serious about the course, it would be a real struggle.

    Course highlights:

The course was all about research. The instructor was funny and straightforward which helped me understand the course better. I learned how to start a research and how to produce a high-quality research paper at the end of the quarter.

    Hours per week:

    12+ hours

    Advice for students:

The instructor was not strict so just do as she guides you to do. This course values your own opinion, not others'. The best thing you should do to be successful in this course is write about your perspective; all she needs is you telling her how you see the world, how you look at things in life.
