    | Would recommend.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

It is a very steady and intriguing course. I learned so much in such a short amount of time.

    Course highlights:

The highlights were how to write different types of essays, grammar, and even a research paper.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

A couple books are required to have. Just make sure you have those and something to write with.

    | Would highly recommend.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

Dr. Alder is an excellent professor. I have had him as an instructor for three different courses at UACCB. When you first meet him he seems dry and you think class is going to be long and boring, but he is the complete opposite. If you give him a chance you won't regret it. He has been my favorite instructor thus far.

    Course highlights:

There are many highlights in this class, all revolving around Dr. Allder's stories he tells before each lesson. He has some wild one but they are guaranteed to take away and anxiety you may be feeling before a big assignment.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

The most important advice I can give for this class is to allow yourself plenty of time for each assignment. This class requires multiple essays, therefore, you need time to write, revise and edit as many times as possible to guarantee a good grade.

    | No strong feelings either way.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

This course requires five essays to be written that aren't very stressful topics to write on. This course requires you to have a book but the book is used about twice the whole semester. This course is required at lots of schools and teaches you how to write thoroughly on Persuasive essays, informative, and analysis essays. If you struggle a lot with writing I would recommend getting help with this class because the grading is pretty stirct.

    Course highlights:

I learned about how long a typical college essay is and about how much research needs to go into each topic. Our teacher also taught a little bit on proper punctuation but not a lot. There wasn't much learning anything new. We only wrote a lot.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

I would ask students who have taken your new teachers class how much they used their book. Instead of buying a new book or even renting it I would split the price with someone because the book wasn't used hardly at all.
