    | Would recommend.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

This class is STRICTLY geared towards the advancement of Biology majors. The content can get very heavy and tough, if you have no interest/are trying to simply get the credit, do NOT take this course.

    Course highlights:

The professor is very lively and energetic. It is very obvious that he has a true passion for everything that he is teaching & has the capability of going into more detail if needed.

    Hours per week:

    12+ hours

    Advice for students:

Just know what you are coming into. As mentioned, if the passion and dedication are there, you will do just fine. This class is a real commitment!

    | Would not recommend.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I would not recommend this specific course with this teacher because he was a very tough professor. He would often say that you would be in good shape to just read the lectures in preparation for the exams but this was not the case. The exams, often enough, did not look much like the lectures.

    Course highlights:

I did like how energetic the professor was when he was teaching each lesson. I learned a lot about DNA sequencing and PCR's and such.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

I would considering taking this course with Goupil or any other teacher that would be more willing to help their students. I felt as though Corl did not want to help his students because he expected them to know their information. I recommend that before you try to meet up with this professor outside of class, that you know your course material before asking any questions about it.

    | No strong feelings either way.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

In order to be successful in this course, you must be willing to put in hours upon hours of mastering the material. Test/quiz questions are meant to confuse you.

    Course highlights:

Lectures are very detail-heavy, but the professor is more than willing to provide any extra explanations that are needed. You just have to make the effort of keeping up with all of information & packets, in order to really know what it is you need help with.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Bottomline, this course is no joke. If you don't put in the effort, you will not be successful. I learned this the hard way, but it is not impossible to pass.
