    | Probably wouldn’t recommend.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

This class was very hard because it was online. I wouldnt recommend the online version because it is a lot of work and a lot of learning and taeching on your own, and I dont learn very well that way.

    Course highlights:

I did learn a lot about myself, my learning techniques and some new sociology pieces. I previously took a sociology class in my high school which helped for some portions of the course, and others not.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

Do not take it online. If you do make sure you read the chapters and study basically all the time so you are prepared for the very difficult tests almost every other week.

    | No strong feelings either way.

    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

It is an easy class to pass if you stay focused but the professor can be slow at returning emails and answering questions.

    Course highlights:

Taking a deeper look into the theories of Sociology was a highlight of the course.

    Hours per week:

    0-2 hours

    Advice for students:

Make sure to start your papers early.

    | No strong feelings either way.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

The class I was enrolled in was online. After taking the course, I discovered for the first time that online classes are harder for me than on-campus classes. I'm more of a visual and hands on learner. I can't grasp the ideas of concepts unless I have someone there telling them to my face.

    Course highlights:

I did learn quite a bit about sociology. From the different types of perspectives on everything to education and family and everything inbetween.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Know where things are located in the book, keep on top of the blog posts, and make sure you go into depth when explaining.
