Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

Dr. Davis is very wise. If you take the time to read his notes you'll find that studying theology is easier than it would seem.

    Course highlights:

If you want to be informed and want your faith to be challenged then listen to someone tell you all opinions and then explain through scripture why we have assurance.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Read his notes. They are mostly in there already, but the power point is available online so make use of that too.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I'd completely recommend this course to anyone because it will change how you view yourself, the world, God, and others. This course challenged my thinking and how I view myself and what my purpose in this world is. Even if you don't have any interest in Christian faith it challenges you to think about why you think the way you do.

    Course highlights:

There are so many highlights throughout this course, I enjoyed learning more about God and about my purpose in life is. I'd say the entire study on Christ and learning all He did for us and how much He really sacrificed for us made me realize how much I'm loved and how I can love others. Also every theology class is started with Calvin and Hobbes and it really just adds to the enjoyment of every class.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Go in with an open mind, allow yourself to be open to the instructors opinions and views and allow yourself to be challenged. It might be tough but you have to sacrifice some social time to study for this course. Pay attention to what the instructor says and not just his notes, be thorough when taking notes but don't let it stress you out!

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend this course, as it forced me to think outside the box and consider things I have never thought of before.

    Course highlights:

For me, the highlight of the course was the research paper. It was easy for me to sit in class every day and never really learn anything, but having to do that paper forced me to think about what had been taught.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

One piece of advice I would give, is go into the class with an open mind. You are going to be taught things you have never heard of before, and it would be easy to write them off. Be willing to listen to what is taught, and do your own research on the topics.
