    | Would recommend.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend it because even though it is tough and the labs are annoying, in the end, you learn some pretty cool stuff. Also, since Chemistry is a bit tricky, it feels so good when you finally get something.

    Course highlights:

The highlights are getting good grades for labs because it is actually alot easier than you think to get a good score on a lab.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Don't be scared of the course because it is science. It comes with a book you can read and it explains things better than the online course.

    | Would highly recommend.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend this course because I thoroughly enjoyed it. It's not a course that you should ever consider skipping or swapping. Although chemistry might be frightening to most students, because of its mathematical components, it's well worth the effort that one has to put forth to succeed in it. It provides a firm foundation for more advanced future study and enlightens the student's view of the world.

    Course highlights:

This course taught me things about myself that I didn't know before. For instance, I didn't know that I could find the empirical formula and molecular formula of a compound from its percent composition, or that I could balance chemical equations like it's second nature. The mathematical problems I learned to solve that highlighted how meticulously our universe is constructed made me feel more confident about my intellectual abilities. This is to say, it could do the same for you.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

My advice for students who are considering this course is to subscribe to Tyler DeWitt's channel on YouTube. He was my mentor throughout this course. He guided me through the mathematical aspects of chemistry in a step-by-step manner and explained difficult concepts like they were the alphabet. For students who find chemistry especially difficult, I would also recommend Khan Academy's chemistry videos.
