Not too easy. Not too difficult.
Although the grades for the course are good and the material is interesting, Breslow himself is not a very competent teacher and, in my opinion, isn't able to lead an introductory organic chemistry class effectively.
The textbook is very well written and definitely helped me establish a solid foundation in organic chemistry. Also, the recitation sessions are very helpful (much more helpful than the lectures themselves)

Advice for students:
Take the textbook on at a steady pace - one chapter at a time. Because there are no problem sets, it is very easy to get behind in the class and have a rough time catching up.
