Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

This course teaches the "study of race" - various theoretical approaches to the concept of race in western society.

    Course highlights:

The course is an overview of how the concept of race developed in the western world, who is impacted by racism and how, and how other historical inequalities, such as patriarchy, intersect with race.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

There is a discussion section where debates can get pretty heated. I encourage students to listen more than they speak, and remember that the topics being discussed actually impact the people around them.
