    | Would highly recommend.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

As one of the core classes at Columbia, Lit Hum is widely lauded. But it's praise does not prepare for the course itself. I feel like I truly LEARNED in this class; it is an extremely exciting feeling.

    Course highlights:

The ability to accumulate knowledge about the different works so as to compare them over the course of the class made for, I think, a more thorough understanding of each work as it appeared in the context of other literature.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

Do the reading ahead of time if possible. And go to class.
