    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

    Provides a foundation for the more complex topics you will cover later in your mailman career.

    Course highlights:

    You learn basics such as OR/RR, etc. You also learn about DAGs, mediation, interaction, etc.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

    Participate in the small group labs. Go to office hours.

    It creates a foundation required to understand epidemiology. Requires critical thinking.

    Course highlights:

    Make sure you understand the basic calculations RR, OR and basic epi terms like mediation, etc.

    Read everything. Don't wait to do homework and go to office hours if you are confused.
