    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

This class was extremely basic. I did not gain much from it, though Banu is a nice woman who means well.

    Course highlights:

I did learn how to prepare an elevator speech. I also learned how to work in groups effectively.

    Hours per week:

    0-2 hours

    Advice for students:

It is an easy A. Take it if you need a science requirement or a GPA booster.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

The material is easy enough if you have a minimal background in stats, but don't expect to get much out of lecture. If you can teach yourself math, do a few problem sets and study for straightforward exams, this class will be great for you. Attendance is sometimes taken at lecture, so you have to go, even if you end up doing other work. Baydil is a horrible professor who reads off of slides that come with the textbook. Don't expect her to do any problems on the board.

    Course highlights:

I have a basic grasp of statistics. It was dry and boring, and Baydil was a pretty bad professor, but her homework and exams were straightforward enough. I feel competent in basic statistics.

    Hours per week:

    0-2 hours

    Advice for students:

I would advise students to get the textbook so that they can review and learn material themselves. Also, I'd use CourseHero and other online services for supplementary help when you don't understand the lecture.
