    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

It is tough because there is a lot of assignments that take time to complete, but it is worth doing because the only true way to learn accounting is to work through real-world problems.

    Course highlights:

I gained a deep understanding of the processes behind accounting and finance management.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Work on accounting homework/study a little bit each day. Otherwise, the work load might pile up and seem like too much to handle.

    Course highlights:

It was a fun class. I heard that acct 11 is harder than 10 but I disagree. I had a higher grade on 11.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

study the practice exams. do the homework. there aren't many opportunities to up your grade because theres not that many assignments.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

Although it is a required course for many business majors, I would highly recommend taking it with Professor Castello. It's a tough course but what's most important is to have a good teacher. If you're ever left feeling confused Professor Castello will clear that up right away. I learned so much in this class and am really grateful to have had such a great professor for my accounting courses.

    Course highlights:

I learned a lot in this class. Too much to list, but it's all related to accounting. It ranged from posting income statements, to balancing budget reports, to making manufacturing statements and so on.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Do the homework, it's a huge part of your grade. The homework doesn't even need to be right, it just needs to be attempted. Go to class, if you miss one session it feels like you've missed a month. So much is covered in one class. Study the exam study guides. I guarantee if you can do the practice exam with no issues, you will get an A on your exam.
