Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

This class prepares you for the AP essays. Essay are written weekly in this course and great feedback is received in order to better prepare you for the AP test.

    Course highlights:

Learning to write essays was a big highlight in the course. The topics written on were AP related and at the same level of difficulty. I learned how to improve my writing and focus more on quality instead of quantity.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Always do your work ahead of time. Procrastination is not the key. Also in the text book that is required, when reading is assigned, do it. It is so helpful when it comes to classwork and writing essays.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

I highly recommend taking this course. APUSH allows the student to master United States History, and also prepares you to learn how to study differently for college, and write essays that professors will look for. This course is vital to have a background in U.S. history, but also to learn how to write and study at a higher level.

    Course highlights:

The course began discussing the colonization of America, and it progressed through the attack on 9/11. My favorite part of the course was studying about monopolies, and how Carnegie, Vanderbilt, and Rockefeller controlled their industry leading to the Sherman Anti-Trust Act.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Diligence is key. If you aren't willing to push through difficult circumstances, this course isn't for you. However the outcome of the course is worth the work put in.
