Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend this course because I think my junior year wouldn't have been complete without this class. The workload was AP style as expected, but the rigor of the subject challenged me and stimulated my brain.

    Course highlights:

The highlights of this course were becoming more and more knowledgeable about significant historical events and figures, sharing discussions about the history of the US, and being taught by someone who genuinely cared about the subject and his students.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Always pay attention and participate during Mr. Armstrong's lectures, take notes of the powerpoint presentations, actually read every chapter of the textbook, complete outside study materials like Adam Norris.

    | Probably wouldn’t recommend.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

This teacher doesn't teach at all. He explains the method only to himself and doesn't care if we understand it or not.

    Course highlights:

I learned a little bit of chemistry and the period table. The labs were fun to do because it was always with a group.

    Hours per week:

    0-2 hours

    Advice for students:

You need to be close with your class peer so you can have study sessions and help each other. The professor is very little help.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

This is the kind of class that I feel every student should be able to take at least once in their lifetime. It is such an enriching experience because the course itself is an amazingly complex and deep subject. Not only that, but the teacher, Mr.Armstrong, makes US History even more fascinating and relatable to everybody. He makes you feel an emotional connection with the history that may have seemed distant and irrelevant before, and it's wonderful to be so in touch with your own nation's background.

    Course highlights:

The main highlights of this course were listening to Mr. Armstrong's lectures and being able to discuss about history in his class with other students. He loved having discussions with his students, and that gave everyone a great opportunity to share their opinions about the past and also learn more about other people's perspectives about many diverse matters.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

One necessary advice for this class is to develop a sincere interest in the subject of US History. Without a certain curiosity and love for the subject, it gets difficult to really succeed in the class.
