Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend this course just because you learn more about yourself than you do in any other class. It is not a class where you just sit at a desk for the full class period and do book work. There is only one mandatory writing assignment you have to do each class an that is your journal. Every class you start off with important things that are happening in the world. Then you proceed onto subjects that reflects on the students opinions. This gives you a chance to express your ideas and opinions to the other students and also to relate to theirs.

    Course highlights:

I gained knowledge in morals. Before the class, I never took the time to think about what moral standards I held to myself and to others. After all of the discussions, I learned what morals truly matter to me and what I expect to see in the society. There is never a time that you are not asked to give your opinion, which is a good thing. You are encouraged to express your ideas on every topic discussed. During the discussions, you learn what your peers have what to say about the topic as well.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

You need to be engaged in each discussion. In order to have a good grade, you need to participate. You are rarely given an assignment to do outside of the class. However, you are asked to take the time and think about an important question or concept he provides. Do yourself a favor, and take small amount of time during the day and write out what you feel about what he said.

It help me realize what we need to know about the issues we have around the world. I understand how to discuss it with other students.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Just know the issues we have in this world and ask a lot of questions. Also don't be shy if you answer it false. At least you tried and there will be other questions you can answer.
