Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

Science in general is very fascinating to me. This knowledge was very useful in other classes such as; Honors Chemistry, Sports Medicine, and AP Biology. I honestly don't think I would have enjoyed the class as much as I did if I did not have the same teacher. He made every day exciting and made me actually want to engage in the activities.

    Course highlights:

In this class I learned how the body works and why it does what it does. The highlights of this course were all the hands on activities. Yes, learning out of a textbook was necessary, but actually getting to see what I was learning made it even more interesting.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

I 100% recommend asking questions and don't be afraid to do it. There are going to be many things in this course that you will not pick up right away and the only way to resolve that is to ask. If you don't ask you are only hurting yourself. Also, study nightly. There are a lot of things that you need to know, so instead of cramming information the night before the test study what you learned each night for about 30-45 minutes. It will definitely help in the long run.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

Anatomy and physiology was a fun class but also very informative. My teacher made sure to give the right amount of notes and also enough time to actually process the information. He has us doing interactive notebooks which have helped me to study.

    Course highlights:

We learned everything from the great toe up to the cerebrum. Not only did we learn about the body, but he taught me a new way to study and take notes that really helped me.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

I think if you are willing to put in the work and this interests you, definitely take it! The material can be a lot to memorize; however, my teacher made us remember the information logically. He taught us how to look at a word we had no idea what it meant, and be able to give an educated guess about what it was just on common sense.
