Course Overview:
I would highly reconmend this course. This course pushes your brain to it's limits by having you seriously problem solve. In this course, you constantly review old material from your earlier math subjects (Geometry, PreCalc, & Trig) so you have to stay on your toes with this course. You will be asked a lot of question you are not used to but in the end you will have a much better understanding of math and how the world works by the end of this course. I highly recommend this course for anyone who wishes for a deeper understand of math and movement, as well as anyone who wishes to increase their problem solving skills.
Course highlights:
I learned about derivatives and integrals. I learn about changes in slopes of graphs and how we apply that to the real world. I learn how to set up relative rates as well as optimization of geometric shapes. All in all, I learned about the study of how things change over time and what that all means.
Hours per week:
6-8 hours
Advice for students:
I would highly recommend that you know how to use google, because you will be home doing homework and not know exactly how to do it. So you have to google a lot. Also don't quit! You're going to struggle but that is the beauty of it. Once you struggle and figure out what you were doing wrong you will completely understand the solution like the back of your hand.

Course Overview:
Calculus itself is a very difficult topic for many people, while for some it coms much easier. My experience was extremely poor and has genuinely scarred me in the sense that I am changing career paths just so I am not forced to face calculus again. If you don't have to take this class, DON'T!
Course highlights:
I honestly did not learn anything related to math or calculus. The only thing I learned was to do better in my other classes in hopes to make the D in AP Calculus on my transcript not look as bad.
Hours per week:
12+ hours
Advice for students:
If you don't have to take it, don't. But if you end up in this class, focus on it 100% and make sure you're other classes are easy because you will be spending ALL of your time dedicated to this.

Course highlights:
How to use a graphing calculator well
Hours per week:

Advice for students:
Do not take it unless you're willing to jeopardize your GPA
