    | Would highly recommend.

    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

This class really helped me understand the basic workings of the law system. It helped me understand the different ways we interact with law enforcement and what the boundaries are.

    Course highlights:

I learned the difference between the degrees of murder. I also learned the difference between a misdemeanor and a felony.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

To succeed in this class, pay attention. Most of the material is super easy but if you miss one detail,it can make it harder to understand a whole unit.

    | Would recommend.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend this class because one could learn a lot about how the juvenile system works and gain knowledge on the rights one has as a U.S. citizen.

    Course highlights:

A guest speaker that is a professor at the ASU campus in Lake Havasu, came into talk to the class about how he got into street law and the criminal justice system. The class gained knowledge on how a criminal is tried in court and the process a criminal must go through.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

What helped the class a lot, was studying on a website called "Quizlet". The teacher created flashcards and gave us the name of it, and from there, we were able to study on our own, at home, and in class.

    | No strong feelings either way.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend this class because I learned about many supreme court justices and why they are so important in today's society.

    Course highlights:

I gained knowledge on how the Juvenile Justice System works, the thorough process a person goes through when he/she is given a court date, and how each case is different.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

For each Unit Exam, we were required to study all of the notes we took, and I used flashcards to gain better my understanding of the concepts (vocabulary words) that we learned while reading the chapter in the textbook.
