    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

I would highly recommend this course because I got a better understanding of how to analyze any type of source and understand it even better than just reading it over one time.

    Course highlights:

The highlights of this course were learning how to analyze a text using many graphic organizers and group work. I learned to find little details in texts that you can not see by just reading over it once. I also started reading at a higher level.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

To succeed in this class the best thing to do it make sure to read a lot. The more you read the better you will understand the texts that we read in class. Another tip that would help a lot is to annotate each and every text you get to help you understand it more.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

The way you write and understand the way someone writes is very important when dissecting and understanding someone's ideas. When you dig deeper and find more meaningful ideas it wraps your mind around the author's ideas in a new way.

    Course highlights:

You dive in and discover deeper meanings about the writer's ideas including dissecting symbols, rhetorical devises and writing structure.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Listen to what your adviser teaches about tools used by writers to strengthen their work to understand it better when you study it.
