    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

First and foremost, Mr. Snyder is a great teacher. He never gets frustrated with students, and actually embraces any question. He does a great job explaining every difficult subject, without giving up the answers. Also, this is a great course because it's pretty different from other math courses. It opens your eyes to a completely new world of mathematics, and anyone who enjoys math and numbers and is curious about problems that other math cannot solve, this is the class for you.

    Course highlights:

We have covered so much so far in this course, from "area under the curve" to "integrals" clear to "derivatives" and so on. One major highlight was making such an intimidating course understandable and enjoyable. It's been great to learn alongside my classmates, and see all the growth in our mathematical knowledge.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Keep a positive outlook first and foremost. Never say you can't do it. If you take notes, do your homework, pay attention in class, and work hard, this class is anything but impossible. Mr. Snyder puts in the effort to teach you, all you need to do is put the effort in to learn the material. Confidence is key. Never be intimidated or you won't find any success. Some topics will be easy for you while others will be tough, but never be frustrated to the point where you give up. If times are tough, just take a break and clear your mind. Return to your work later with a positive outlook, and you should be able to do well in the class.
