    | No strong feelings either way.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

It's a very relaxed course with quite a few class collaboration activity and often involves some form of artistic creativity.

    Course highlights:

The course mostly focuses on the use of rhetoric in any format. As such the majority of the class is learning rhetorical devices and being able to identify them. It also discusses in depth about how to write the essays for the AP test that is companion to the course.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Just make sure you are well-versed I your rhetorical devices and you should be fine. Also be prepared to read speeches and books.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

Mrs. Hinton is a great teacher, loves what she does and AVHS is overall a great school.

    Course highlights:

I've learned how to read literature, epic poems and annotate cohesively. I have yet to complete the course but I am learning so much so fast.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

I needed to be on top of every angle assignment, listen attentively and be willing to study instead of anything else.

    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

English and Literature AP was the best class I've ever taken!!! The teacher was great, we worked at a steady pace, the information I acquired was valuable, as well as the friendships I made by collaborating often, was a great feeling,

    Course highlights:

The course had plenty of highlights, however the best one was the AP test. I was able to prove my knowledge about English and Literature to others by taking it.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Always do the reading and do not EVER wait until the last minute to do an assignment. Start it as soon as you get it. Also don't be shy. You'll be forced to collaborate and engage in group discussions frequently, you might as well get rid of your shyness now.
