    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

This class is very informational, and will definitely be vital to your experience in the medical field. Mr. Young is very skilled in teaching this class, as he does a very good job of explaining why the body is the way it is, and why certain features of the body are named or classified as they are. Other than that, be sure to study, as there are tons of minute details which you must remember (including the features of every bone in the body)!

    Course highlights:

I learned several valuable pieces of information with Mr. Young, including the anatomical and microscopic makeup of the body, which I know will be very useful to me in my college and career years.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Study every night. Pay attention to detail, as many features of the body are spelled similarly, but are very different. Do not procrastinate, either, because your test scores will reflect that!

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend this course because it is very interesting. It is very interesting to learn about what our body does, how it does it, and why it does it. A lot of people say the course is hard, but if you keep up with all your work and pay attention to lectures it is easy. Plus, Mr. Young is a very good teacher and really knows the material.

    Course highlights:

I gained so much knowledge from taking this course. I learned about every single system in our body and how they all interact together to maintain homeostasis. This was the key point in physiology, maintaining homeostasis. I can also now tel you every bone in your body and muscles as well. I gained so much useful knowledge that I will never forget.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Always stay on top of your work! This is key to passing the class. Make sure you are always paying attention to notes and always study your models when the teacher first introduces them. This will help you be more prepared for the lab practical down the road.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I recommend taking this class because it's a huge opportunity and taking it will give you a huge advantage especially if you want to be in the medical field!

    Course highlights:

From taking this class, I got to learn all the cool things about the human body. I learned about every single bone in the human body and even the different muscles! I got to do cool labs that relate to the body. For example, I had a lab where I got to dissect a cow heart! How cool is that?! It really was an experience that I definitely don't regret at all. Even though some tests were challenging, I was able to get through it overall. Good luck!

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

To complete this course, you have to have the drive to want to learn. It definitely can get difficult , but if you believe that you will pass with flying colors, then you will pass with no doubt! I recommend forming a study group with others when their is a certain topic in the class that your not sure of or if there is a test that is coming up. You want to make sure that you pay attention to the class so that you'll understand your lab practical final. If you don't pay attention, you won't be prepared! Also remember that if your looking to be in the medical career, then this will be an advantage for when you attend college. Good luck...
