Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend that most juniors take this course because it helps you with your writing skills and your English skills. It also helped me improve my ACT English score.

    Course highlights:

The highlights of this course were the books he had us read. I learned how to infer from difficult books to help me answer the questions.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Make sure you read what is assigned every night and do the homework so you will not be behind.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

Slavens is a great teacher!! She has taught me so much and it is only the second nine weeks. Hard class but totally worth it!

    Course highlights:

My favorite subject that she has taught is greek mythology. We've also gone over many plays through out this year and poems. You really have to study for this class, there are tests almost every week over something new.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Study a lot and to study make flash cards. Write down just about everything she says.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend this course. You learn a lot of new material and it prepares you for college classes.

    Course highlights:

I gained knowledge about Greek and Norse mythology. I learned how to write well written, wordy essays. I also learned how to write essays in class given a certain amount of time.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

If you want to take this course in high school, I suggest that you come to class everyday and take thorough notes and study them. You need to study for tests. You can do this by doing a many small amounts of study sessions throughout the week.
