    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

Journalism is one of the most important classes there is to take. There is so much in the world to see, but too many limitations put against us to be able to fully delve into all of the potential. The only way to tap into the beauties of nature, art, and the thriving world around us, is to be able to read and write. After a long day of work, people can sink into their couch and watch the walls around them grow into the thick jungle of the Amazon; the Mona Lisa paints itself before their eyes in front of the TV; world affairs are brought to the dining room table. Writing is the only art in the world that is not only a piece of itself, but has the ability to make you see something else. The idea that for the rest of my life, I could bring the world to life for those to whom it may seem dead is enough motivation to choose this activity as my future.

    Course highlights:

I have learned how to write, and how to do so concisely and interestingly. The students in my class share with me constructive criticism, as I do with them, and from there we all learn to grow together. I love every day I spend in the classroom, and most of all I love writing.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Absolutely, without a doubt, take this course. No matter what type of a future you are trying to lead, writing can only help. It is one of the few life skills that is applied to all careers.
