    | Would recommend.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend it to those who have a strong interest in learning more about how drugs affect the body along with how we react to them. Not many labs, but its good extra info for when you do take lab courses. It made me feel more prepared than my other classmates.

    Course highlights:

I learned a lot about synapses and how drugs affect our neurons. We also had an entire unit on sleep and the circadian rhythm where we completed a sleep log of our own and compared the results to other classmates. That was my personal favorite.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

You need to firstly be passionate about learning more on the brain and how it reacts to different kinds of drugs. I recommend flashcards. There are plenty of terms that you will need to know and recognize in order to understand the material in class.
