Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

This course helps students apply and practice writing skills in a fun environment. This course will strengthen your writing skills and help you convey your ideas in words in a much smoother way. It’s also interesting to learn about how decisions are made in the government and how you can make a difference.

    Course highlights:

The highlights of this course were all the projects and activities that we did. The ones that stick in my mind are all the debates that we held during class to represent the Supreme Court. Another highlight the Supreme Court where we had to research and put them in order of importance. This led to another class debate on which Supreme Court case is the most important.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

To succeed in AP Government there a few tips to help you succeed. The first tip is to make sure you do all your homework on time. Once you slip it’s hard to catch up to the class. Another tip is to make sure you do all the readings assigned in class. You do not want to go in unprepared. The last tip is to make sure you have a study partner that you can study that will keep you accountable.
