Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

Dr. Percival was always passionate about subject topics and willing to help his students succeed. He was animated and intelligent, which made every class entertaining.

    Course highlights:

This course provided a strong foundation for higher level biology and chemistry classes. I found that lectures were sufficient to do well in quizzes and exams, so reading the textbook was not mandatory for me.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Weekly quizzes were given, so it is best to review material after each class or at least weekly. In the end, this helps prevent cramming for exams.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

Dr. Percival made General Biology fun and entertaining. While his tests were somewhat challenging, he was passionate about teaching and the material. I would say that most of the material on the test was covered in class, and reading the textbook was not mandatory. However, the instructor expected us to review material continually, as we had weekly quizzes.

    Course highlights:

I think I learned a lot of material in one semester for a General Biology course. It has definitely laid a solid foundation for other biology-based courses that I have taken.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

I would suggest reviewing the material taught in class weekly, as this will help with the quizzes and prevent students having to cram before exams.
