    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

This course is great for students looking to cover ground in the college realm. It is a college level class and is graded as so. I highly recommend it to ambitious and organized students who want to get a glimpse of college level math.

    Course highlights:

The course is taught in a high school classroom but is a college class. It is extremely helpful to be in a college like environment prior to entering a college institution. You get college credits as well as a sense of what a college classe might be like and it may very well relieve anxiety about entering the college world if the student is organized and actively participating in the class. I quickly learned how to organize my notes in a way that I could refer back to for a test.

    Hours per week:

    0-2 hours

    Advice for students:

Always ask questions when you don't understand something. The teacher is always willing to help and almost always knows how to explain things that just aren't sticking. Don't fall behind on classwork and homework because these will train you for the test which are a big part of the grade. It is always a good idea to spend time studying with the teacher outside of the class period before a test. It makes a huge difference.
