In this class you need to stay focused during class she will give you most of the answers to help you study for the formatives which you take every week and a half she will give you till the test day to turn in pages which I would use because if you don't turn in those pages you will be taken the final.
This class was tough.
Course Overview:
I would recommend this course because it gave me an interest in math. Before I enjoyed math but just saw it as another class. Then I took this course, and I was excited to come to class. I wanted to learn more. We would work in groups and explore math concepts together.
Course highlights:
In this course I learned about logarithms. At first I was scared and was really confused. Once my teacher explained it and I was able to work within a group, I got it. This really made me proud of myself. I was able to understand logarithms, when I didn't think I would ever be able to.
Hours per week:
6-8 hours
Advice for students:
In this course you need to pay attention. It is good to take as many notes as possible. Even if you think you will remember what the teacher said, I would write it down. In this course it is also important to do all of your work. This allows you to learn the material. During class, ask as many questions as possible. Do not be afraid to ask because other students have the same questions as you.
Not too easy. Not too difficult.
Course Overview:
The is material easy to understand, and the teacher is always available to come in and ask questions after class. The material is also given in a concise format along with a packet of notes. The homework is frequently given in the same packet where the notes are, so it is easy to pull a reference from the notes in order to better understand the material while practicing the problems.
Course highlights:
Algebra two includes exponential functions, inequalities, and linear equations, all of which I found to be fun to solve. This class became something that I looked forward to, and I wanted to excel in the subject matter as I saw it as a challenge and I want to exceed in all challenges presented to me.
Hours per week:
3-5 hours
Advice for students:
Don't be afraid to ask questions to the teacher. The material builds on top of itself, so if you do not understand a key segment, later units will become harder due to the fact that you do not understand the fundamentals of it. It's a really easy class as long as you study the material, and you will have no problem.
