Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

This course is very informational and the material is modern and fun.

    Course highlights:

Once we had an author come in and speak to us about the material we were covering. Overall I learned a lot about how to properly analyze a work and write an essay about it. This particular course focuses a lot on theme, since that is something many people struggle to understand when it comes to novels and short stories.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Do the reading, do the writing, show up, and you're good to go. The instructor is nice and accommodating but she also knows when someone is just trying to pull a fast one on her.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

This course was very tough, but it is definitely worth the struggle. I learned so much!

    Course highlights:

I learned that being a part of English literature is a major accomplishment in our day and age.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

READ! And do your research. Writing an essay is not easy and if you haven't read everything you needed to you will not pass.
