    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

I would certainly recommend this course. I was not very confident in my ability to write before I took this class. I now feel that I am prepared for the intensive amount of writing that takes place in college and in my eventual professional career.

    Course highlights:

I enjoyed learning about the rhetorical triangle and all the ways in which writers try to appeal to it. I always enjoyed getting to write essays as strange as that may sound. I really grew fond of writing and have a greater appreciation for good writing after taking this course.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Be prepared for a tough workload. It may be overwhelming at times but will pay off eventually.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

The course was AP Language and Composition. I would recommend it because it really defined my writing skills. Lots of papers are required and some of them are timed, so my writing process was forced to speed up. I really needed to hone my writing skills so this course was perfect for me.

    Course highlights:

I learned about how writers influence their readers through things like tone and diction. The highlights of this course were the books we read. I loved Fahrenheit 451.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Be ready to write. This course requires a lot of writing. Also be prepared to learn writing techniques and how to recognize them.
