    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

This is one of the most exciting courses I've ever taken! It is fascinating and never bores me. Always look forward to this class. I had the best teacher who made the topics we were discussing 10X better! Highly recommend!

    Course highlights:

The highlights of this course for me would be learning about world history in general because every single chapter was as interesting as the next but my personal favorite would be learning about south east Asia, particularly about India!

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

I honestly think that you should #1 always do the reading, don't brush it off because it is really important and doing this will help you know whats going on and you can be a part of the discussions in class. #2 Always do the reading guides, you won't regret it!

    | No strong feelings either way.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

History is a difficult topic to me so personally I wouldn't recommend it for the fun of the class. I would however recommend it if you are wanting a world wide perspective and wanting to learn about how politics and relationships between countries played out in history. History is important as it helps us define how we got to where we are, what mistakes we've made, and ideas about what to do in the future. So history is important although it may not always be fun as it is often facts.

    Course highlights:

The highlights of this course were the class discussions. My history course was not lecture based so we would have nightly reading homework and then the next day we would discuss what we read and put together a timeline. The discussion really help piece together what was happening socially and politically during the time we were studying. My favorite time period was the victorian period. The fashion, social norms, and political situation was the most fascinating to me.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

If you are considering this course, be prepared for a lot of reading and notes. Participation is also key to understand the material and do well in the class. Be prepared to buckle down and read and prepare so you can get the most out of the class.
