Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

Ms.Catlin is such an amazing English teacher. Throughout this course, our class read numerous novels and analyzed each. My favorite novel that we studied was Harper Lee's ''To Kill a Mockingbird''. As a class, we were able to have engrossing class discussions about the deeper themes of this novel like injustice.

    Course highlights:

Throughout this course, I mastered the ability to be more open minded. In our class discussions, I would disagree with some of the statements that my classmates made. Instead of being unwilling to accept their opinions, I would provide a counterargument and the discussion continued on from there.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Do not procrastinate! She assigns weekly vocabulary quizzes in order to prepare you for the SAT. The quizzes are typically on a Friday. Do not wait until the last minute to begin study (Thursday night/Friday morning). In addition, read the chapters assigned every night. You do not want to get behind in the readings.
