    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

I deeply enjoy the course because I enjoy literature, writing and articles so I enjoyed the class a lot and found it easy, but if one doesn't enjoy or doesn't have such a high skill set in English they may not enjoy.

    Course highlights:

The course was divided into segments by essays. For example, up until the first essay was due (which was about comparing and contrasting two Ted Talks on happiness), class time was dedicated to research for that specific essay (which mainly consisted of watching many Ted Talks revolving around the topic so we could have many to choose from). Learned a lot of vital Techniques on research essays.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

Expand your vocabulary! It makes writing long essays so much easier.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

This is a class required to take for most students. It is a writing class focused on research and development of a school wide theme. The class aims to teach students to write in APA style and develop cognitive skills.

    Course highlights:

I learned how to write in APA style. The meat of the course is being able to find and use resources beyond the internet such as libraries, other databases, and interviews. Learning APA is just a skill that is needed for the course. It is a difficult writing class if you do not manage your time wisely or if you do not communicate with the professor.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Take it early on and get it over with. However make sure you are not overwhelmed with other courses because you will need time for proper research.
