    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

This course was intriguing. If you have a passion for music and it origins, it is definitely a sign that you'll love this course!

    Course highlights:

The knowledge and one to one relationship offered by the professor was spectacular. The small classroom setting, literally less than 25 people, was not overwhelming which allowed for more concussion about the topic. Luckily, if you are one of the few that arrive early to class before an exam, she will study the material with you and review some possible questions.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

She is a spectacular teacher with passion for the subject. This course is not for those with ill study habits and lack of determination. Make sure you do the homework and study hard! Each test is a regurgitation of the book.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I'm not sure if this website has the class I took, but it was a music appreciation course, I believe a 1010 course. However, this class is about an overall appreciation of music from each of the musical periods.

    Course highlights:

Learned about different pieces and composers and the different musical periods.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

There are quizzes, so study the handouts she gives you basically. The tests have composition identifications, so be prepared for those, and she normally has like 50 questions on there, so study the handouts and listen to the compositions. There is also a final concert paper.

    Course highlights:

Learning how certain pattern and music structures are still the same all these years. The amazing talents and intelligence of the composers and musicians.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

Take the course, but remember this music started back in the 1600.
