    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

I recommend this Course and this professor because he made the class interesting, he even taught us things that wasn't in the course text book! Please take this class to have a better understanding about the start of slavery and African Americans as well.

    Course highlights:

A better understanding about slavery. It was more in depth than your average African-American History class. You learned about before slavery was even invented and WHERE in Africa Most slaves came from. It was BEYOND mind blowing

    Hours per week:

    0-2 hours

    Advice for students:

Just make sure you do the quizzes and read. I promise you the reading isn't boring if you're a history fanatic

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

This was a very interesting class we got to learn a lot more about our culture than ever before. Professor Brown was an amazing teacher he was very informative and there was a lot of reading for this course but it was worth it.

    Course highlights:

I learned a lot while taking this course for example other Africans sold other Africans that were from different tribes so they were also contributing to slavery. We also had a project where we had to go to a African American history site and I learned more and more about the people who died while fighting in the civil war and the type of weaponry that was used.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

The advice that I would give is don't miss a class, don't be on your phone (he takes points off), and do all the extra credit.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

This is a great class to take. He uses pop cultural references in order to show you how history apples to people in the 21st century. He's a great professor who's main goal is to teach his students the importance of history.

    Course highlights:

The highlight of this course was his Who Wants to be a Millionaire quiz review. You have to study because of you don't he will cut the game short but if you study and know the answers the game is fun. It allows you to study before your final and help you understand anything that might not be clear to you.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Be ready to work and write a lot of notes. Study hard and read the book to understand key concepts. Professor Maginn is always available to help you with anything that you might need help with. He is a great teacher that actually cares about your education and wants to see you succeed.
