Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

This course is structured and simple, easily condensing a semester-long worth of material into 5 weeks. Professor Jeanty not only teaches, but she engages the class with updated technology and explanation points. She uses PowerPoint, provides you with a plethora of online and offline resources, and assisted us in understanding hidden meanings in language using current events. Best of all, professor Jeanty effectively and honestly communicates with her students.

    Course highlights:

I learned how to be more nuanced and formal in my writing as well as improvements on my grammar. When I returned to school that fall, I was able to be ahead of the game, and it showed in my grades.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Be on top of your work. This class is structured and simple, but you still need to take responsibility. Being condensed into 5 weeks, you will have to be prepared for tests and essays at least once a week. Be sure to talk to the professor as well. She gives very beneficial advice!
